Ladies and gentlemen, this is your long-time captain speaking, and I found this space dusty and full of cobwebs. And yes, that is what most blogger will say after a huge period of hiatus.
Oh, here is a picture of cobwebs
August 2nd of 2010 is what our last post said about the date. That's a long time. A long, long time. A long time that is long. Wow. That is exactly two years next month. Maybe I should wait until then so the break went beautiful.
Hell no.
I get my body rounder and rounder. What's the proper term for that.. chubbier? I plan(ned) to do some exercises to burn fat. I made plan and failed miserably. I always say 'next morning' but nothing is really done. My best streak is two days. I want to be healthy. I don't need big muscles, I just want health. I want to be healthy when I get old(er).
This is not why I write this post. No. I need to write. I need to write things to express. You know, I have another blog and I write rhymes there. I feel so much excited about the idea at first, but I just easily got bored. I realize that rhyming (making rhymes) can't express myself as full as writing shits like what you read in this blog. I stuck with the rules. I stuck and felt like fools. When I can't continue, I just stop, because I know I will have different feelings in another start. For me, feeling is the most important thing for you to have to do arts.
Also there is the so-called 'galau'(-ness) that bothered me recently. It's simply the word in Bahasa Indonesia originally for the feeling of uncertainty (but is overused by idiots so much that the meaning changes). I'm feeling uncertain about my future. I see so many successful people and just feel more and more demotivated. You know, successful people do things for their dream. I want to be like them, but what have I done? I just slack everyday. I don't do things. I just want the success. That's just wrong.
And funnily enough, I wrote rhyme for this. Maybe that is done in my another galau-ness.
I aim to be rich. To be rich, a way very possible is to become an entrepreneur. I'm not an entrepreneur. No, not yet. This 'not-yet' thing itself is uncertain. I haven't yet starting. I do not start. I'm just too scared. I'm too scared of failure. No, maybe not that. I'm scared of starting. Oh maybe yes, I just scared of failure. I'm afraid things don't do as I thought, and most successful entrepreneur fails in their first years. Some others keep failing years later. I knew this, but I don't know, maybe I'm just lazy.
Maybe I'm just too lazy in starting things. In making rhymes, in doing exercise, in becoming an entrepreneur, in taking actions. I want to have the eagerness, the romanticism of having a dream. I don't want to be forever a dreamer, I want to achieve. Much more like this recent Coca-Cola TV commercial:
I will aim.
End of flight.

Flight 4: What is the Aim of This Post?

Flight 3: Some Overviews
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking.
Again, no post for a long, long time. *cough*.
1. I don't remember when the National Children Day is, but I always remember that every year (yes, every year), there is always a "negative" documentary about the children. The documentary states that most of this country's children lives in poverty, are in malnutrition, or being exploited. The question is, why? I mean, they can publish the report everyday in any news program, but in the National Children Day, is it wrong to tell good news of our children? National Children Day must be fun for children--it's their day.
2. Two days ago, there was a clash between Forum Betawi Rempug (Betawi Discussion Forum/FBR) and local residents of Jalan Rempoa, Tangerang. It all happened because of one simple reason: the Rempoans don't want FBR flags in their region. The FBR got offended, and the clas cannot be evaded.
I think the Rempoans have done the right thing, because FBR is no political organization. So, they cannot "possess" a region (by putting their flag and/or any coat of arms there) that is not their property. Moreover, why should FBR did such thing? After having their flags everywhere, then what?
3. I took a Multiple Intelligence test, and the result is:
then, when I search for deeper results, I found that I'm an INFP, the dreamer, the idealist (PeronalityPage.com). It's just cool, because the site also stated that most of world's best writers are INFPs (George Orwell [1984], J. R. R. Tolkien [The Lord of the Rings], and the great William Shakespeare. Cool.
End of flight.

Flight 2: Some Songs are Slices of Life
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking.
Sorry for the late update. Sorry for the last bad flight. But anyway, I listened to this Just The Way You Are song, the Barry White version, originally by Billy Joel, and love it instantly. I google for the lyrics, and this is my favorite part:
It just match me. Thanks, Bill :)
End of flight.
PS: This is the Barry White version
..And Kasino's dangdut version, my personal favorite

I don’t want clever conversation // I never want to work that hard // I just want someone that I can talk to // I want you just the way you are
It just match me. Thanks, Bill :)

Flight 1: The Captain, uh.. The Writer, Sorry, I Mean The Typer, I Mean ..FORGET IT!
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. (I think I should write that line in every post by now)
As I have promised (oh how I hate promises) in the latest post, I will tell you about the pilot. About me. D'oh, it's gonna be a tough work. Yes, I cannot describe myself.
A question mark may appear over your head now (check it, I'll wait ..Are you done yet? A flight must not wait). Exactly! How could one not able to even type some sentences about himself? Trust me, I can't. But, I can do something about that. As a wise man said, a man is known by his likes and dislikes, I will type things I like and some more that I hate. Here goes.

THE THINGS I LIKE AND HATE
(The list is tentative, or may be reduced and/or added due to one thing or another)
By Captain Dika Satrio
I like..
1. Being in a silence, full stop.
2. Comedy, I enjoy laughing and making people laugh both at and with me. But mostly fails.
3. Fantasy, I love dreaming, imagining, acting like a fool, doing bizarre things. Oh, also watching good movies.
4. Books, literature, written arts, reading.
5. Reading people, guessing what kind of people they are based from daily actions, faces (true!), or speeches (including the way they speak).
6. Making fun of something, someone. It's fun to criticize.
7. Thinking. I love philosophy, but not as lectures. Oh.. Why?
8. Truth and truthfulness. I can't tell lies. I will be easily detected by Tim Roth.
9. Faith, belief, faithfulness. Backstabber and traitors are prohibited.
10. Good music (n) The Beatles, swing jazz, smooth jazz; musics that helps relaxation.
11. Steadiness, clarity, but ironically I love mystery (and gossip, too).
12. Independence. What is the main purpose of being a human, when someone isn't free?
13. Beautiful girls. Not bitches. Women are there to be loved. I know this statement is not gonna last forever, but at least I know I'm not writing a shit.
14. Details.
15. Procrastinating.
I hate..
1. Laziness (but yes, I also worship the lazy lads like Homer Simpson, Nobita, and Patrick Star).
2.. I'll do the rest later in the morning (remember point 15 of the likes!). And remember, I hate making promises.
I'm getting sleepy. Bye.
End of flight.
